Move is a response to leading LPR Company’s incredible growth.

PlateSmart Technologies is proud to announce today that the Company has moved its headquarters to newer and more spacious offices in its Florida hometown of Oldsmar. The new space provides a more comfortable working environment for the Company’s current staff as well as ample room for the expansion that will be happening in the near future.

The move comes as a direct result of the explosive growth PlateSmart has experienced since the initial rollout of its groundbreaking software-only Mobile License Plate Recognition (LPR) solution. The PlateSmart software debuted at the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, and since then has seen a consistent increase in popularity among law enforcement agencies. Last year, PlateSmart released ARES, its enterprise fixed-location video analytics solution. ARES was swiftly adopted by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) of the U.S. Navy in a sole-source contract, and has subsequently been implemented by Adventist Health System, The University of San Diego, and Port Tampa Bay, to name just a few of PlateSmart’s clients. PlateSmart is also negotiating sole-source contracts for ARES with several other Federal agencies and has system integration projects in progress with a substantial number of public and private organizations. Additionally, PlateSmart recently announced a cloud-based offering of ARES in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model for government agencies, which is hosted by Amazon Web Services.

ARES’ excellence has also garnered it back-to-back awards for excellence. Consulting firm Frost & Sullivan conferred a Technology Innovation Leadership Award on ARES in 2013, and in 2014, Security Products magazine honored the software with a Platinum Govies Award, which recognizes outstanding government security products.

PlateSmart’s overwhelming success in the marketplace has necessitated a rapid increase in staffing to accommodate its tremendous influx of business prospects. As explained by Company founder and CEO John Chigos, “Our business with NCIS and Adventist Health alone are going to require us to triple our size, and of course it doesn’t stop there. It’s a wonderful ‘problem’ to have. I’m incredibly proud of this Company and what we’ve accomplished. It was definitely time to move.”

PlateSmart’s phone number will continue to be (813) 749-0892, and the Company website will remain at https://www.platesmart.com. The new mailing address for PlateSmart is 640 Brooker Creek Blvd., Suite 465, Oldsmar, Florida 34677.
